Vacationing In Florida At An Amusement Park! By Akhil D, Long Island, NY, 4th Grade

Florida was great! Actually, it was an AMAZING trip! I’m going to tell you all about it!

Once we got to Florida we saw an amusement park. It looked so cool because there were many rides and adventures! The amusement park was very close to our hotel. It was only about 10 minutes away. We decided to go to the amusement park. When we got to the amusement park it looked fun, but it had a very, very long line outside. So, we decided to go back to our hotel.

When we went back to our hotel we watched Shark Tank. We saw some of Season 1 and some of Season 2 on the TV in our hotel room. After a while, we decided to try going back to the amusement park.

Once we got back to the amusement park we saw there was not a long line anymore. It was now a really short line with only three or two people. We were so excited!

Once we got into the amusement park we ran, actually we sprinted, in a straight line to one ride. It was called the Awesome UFO. I got in and basically the ride spun around and then you got sucked into the wall. I climbed the wall even though I knew it was a really, really bad idea. Then, once it stopped I fell down.

The amusement park was fun except for one RIDE. That ride smelled horrible and it was like someone pooped in a stinky sock. It was so bad that we got out of the line and went on a different ride. Then we left and went back to our hotel.

The amusement park was so much fun to visit except for that ONE RIDE! I can’t wait to go back again and have so much fun!
