It’s about reading

Hi everyone, my name is Samanvi. I am a 10-year-old and in Grade 5. My love for reading started when I was 4 years old. When I was younger, I used to flip through the pages of books. So, when I just started kindergarten, there were shelves full of books in the classroom. That’s where my love of reading started.

The moment the teacher said free time, I would run to grab a book and read it. I still do that to this day. Every week I wait to go to the library and get new books. Whenever I am sad, mad, or just don’t know what to do I will take a book and read.

Book’s have always been my best friends. Sometimes you think you don’t like reading. It’s not always that case. Most of the time your just need to find the right book or author. For example, when I first started reading chapter books, I didn’t find anything that I liked. Then I stumbled across a Ronald Dahl’s books. It was amazing and I immediately brought the rest of the series. I couldn’t stop reading them. No matter how many times I keep reading them, the books feel new every time.
