Project Shakthi - Phase One Completed
It's a great honor to work with Project Shakthi, a Climb for Cause initiative to Empower, Educate and Elevate girl children from underprivileged backgrounds. The goal is to raise $100,000 funds to educate 100 girls in India through high-altitude mountain climbs. Along with raising funds for education through the platform of high-altitude mountaineering and exploration, this initiative strives to inspire girls and women globally to transcend their boundaries, both internal and external, and help them realize what we as girls can achieve when we push our boundaries, whether in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) fields or Extreme Environments.
We call it STEAM-X!

In the first phase, AVS Academy students helped Dr. Kavya, the brainchild for project Shakthi in various capacities. This month, we celebrated the phase one completion with a special recognition to the five volunteers for their incredible achievement.

"I am Hansika Chennamsetty and my contribution to Project Shakti is creating the outreach video and donating towards the cause. I addressed the goal of Project Shakti by detailing the mountain climbing objectives and including video clips of Dr. Kavya and Poorna Malavath speaking to their personal aspiration of empowering females. I also donated 200 dollars to Project Shakti. I feel so blessed to be able to contribute to such a Noble project! Thank you"
