Do you know about the NBA? Well it doesn’t matter if you do or you don’t because I am going to tell you about a significant player for the NBA (National Basketball Association), James Harden.

James Edward Harden Jr. was born on August 26, 1989 and is a professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets. Harden was a graduate from Arizona State University. He had played college basketball for Arizona state. Harden was picked third overall pick for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2009 NBA Draft. Harden is also a 8-time NBA All-Star and also earned All NBA Team honors 6 times! Harden’s overall career points are: 20,723! His overall career rebounds are: 4,388! James Harden is the 45th best player in the NBA. James Harden is also a left handed shooter. Some of James Harden’s best play’s are: Shooting step back 3 pointers and usually crossing people and putting up the Dunk!! James Harden is also known for his layups.

James Harden inspires me for various reasons. He motivates me to push myself and become a better basketball player. His inspiration made me play well with my team in Farmwell station League and we were the champions for the season. I am hoping to continue to learn from his games. Harden also motivates me with this quote: “ If you have a dream, chase it, no matter what it takes.” This quote inspires me to accomplish any goal in my path, to do my work until it is done. This way James Harden not only influences me in playing basketball but also in various other parts of my activity.
