AVS Debate Center of Excellence

With the roaring success we had in our recent summer debate tournament judged by national rankers, AVS Academy initiated its debate center of excellence. The COE consists of 8 middle school students and 5 high school students in leadership roles. Our goal is to mentor and coach students starting from the age 10 and above with principles of debate so they are better equipped with the skills in high school years paving the way for a bright future. Debates tremendously help students excel in public speaking skills along with create writing, analytical reading, research, presentation, self confidence and build endurance. We must cover basic expenses for tournaments so a one-time enrollment fee ($35) must be paid at the time of enrollment which is valid for one year. COE student leadership will conduct thorough sessions at regular intervals based on the topics and school year priorities.
