I was so honored to meet Dr. Srimathy Kesan and Ms. Geeta Chopra. One of the biggest takeaways I had from this meeting was that our willpower and our strongest thoughts always pull us in the right direction and help us pursue our goals. Hearing Dr. Kesan’s passion and burning desire to achieve a goal despite the criticism is very inspirational and influential. She made it very clear and simple saying that space is for everybody and is not limited to astronauts and astrophysicists.

The plan was to make smaller missions where children can be involved. It will take around 4-5, 5-centimeter picosatellites in one capsule that will be launched into space. It is an economic way for research. Space taxi is the picosatellite Orbital mission, which involves advanced programming and advanced sensors. It is a Low Earth Orbit launch (200 & above km). Dr. Kesan mentioned that coding is an important factor to maneuver big satellites. There is a program for kids to become Analog Astronauts where they will explore the medical, business, and different fields of research. FunSat is another program for kids where sounding Rockets are going to be a suborbital launch of 100 km. Training will be given on the basics of satellites, why they need to be sent, interesting factors, different sensors, and the difference between balloon sat and sounding rocket. Sounding rockets are used for research purposes. The launch would be a vertical trajectory that goes up and falls into the Ocean. Live data would be collected when launched.

Ms. Geeta Chopra's hosting was amazing because not only were her questions unique and asked the most important questions such as life lessons. She was very energetic and clear while interviewing Dr. Kesan. I like how she spoke loud and was always smiling.

Thank you so much Kiran Uncle for exposing us to all the latest technologies where the world is marching towards for the next 30 years. It was so interesting to know that careers will be related to Space infrastructure, AI in Space, Space innovation, Astronaut physicians. I am very excited to be a part of this program. Thank you!
