Thank you all for your participation. The event kickoff went as smoothly as possible. The goal of our meetings was to do some good introductions and understand the purpose of the partnership. The beneficiaries of the partnership are the students who can garner both leadership qualities with compassionate work and the villages becoming self-sustainable.
Highlights of the meeting:
Synthia Ji introduced the vision of SERA. She went over the presentation that set the stage of how the modus operand is laid out. Some of the salient points
Use Stanford’s proven design thinking concept
Project Management structure
Four identified problem areas
Communication protocol
Technology driven problem solution approach
Include Artificial Intelligence as option
Next Steps:
SMEs, PMs and AVS parent volunteers to meet up on Saturday 3-20-21 to hash out the next steps on problem definition which in turn brings the action plan and end result into consideration. Before this meeting, the team to create a Google share to coordinate and start putting together the draft for problem statement. Mr. Kiran to take the lead in putting together simple but efficient templates to steer the conversation. The approach is *do not boil the ocean* and take baby steps to steer the students to a more pragmatic technology driven solution to stick to the real meaning of SMART village solution.
Thanks
Kiran Palla
